Trey formed Trey & the Tritones in 1992. An active composer, arranger, and songwriter, Trey has had many of his works performed and recorded. His 1994 country song, “Don’t That Leave Memory Here” was nominated for the song of the year for the metroplex CMA. He has shared the stage with jazz artists Louis Bellson, Clark Terry, Jon Faddis, Tony Campisi, film composer Patrick Williams, country music legends Eddy Raven & Marty Stuart, and the original Paul & Paula from the 60’s. In addition to performing, Trey is also a music educator. He is a member of the faculty at Texas Christian University where he teaches Music Theory, Ear-Training, and composition. He is also a clarinet and saxophone instructor for several local school districts.
